A Case of Mistaken Identity
Check In Cheque Out (2025) is a comedy-thriller that kicks off with Ayaan Kapoor (Rajkummar Rao), a shy junior accountant from Mumbai. He wins a corporate retreat to the luxurious Coral Cove Resort in Mauritius. It’s his first vacation in years, and he’s ready for some much-needed rest.
However, upon check-in, the hotel staff mistakes him for someone else. That someone is Ayan Kapur—a notorious international money launderer who was scheduled to arrive at the same resort. Due to their nearly identical names, Ayaan is given VIP treatment meant for the criminal.
