Koode (2018) – Plot Summary
Koode (2018) is a Malayalam-language psychological drama directed by Anjali Menon. The film follows Joshua, a man who spent years working in Dubai, sacrificing his own dreams to support his family. When he returns home for his sister Jenny’s funeral, he is emotionally distant and burdened by his past. However, he soon encounters Jenny’s spirit, who helps him rediscover joy and purpose in life.
Through their interactions, Joshua learns about Jenny’s unfulfilled dreams and the love she had for those around her. As he reconnects with his family and childhood memories, he begins to heal from his trauma. The film beautifully explores themes of love, loss, and emotional healing, blending realism with a touch of fantasy.
