Plot Summary:
Motorheads (2025), the global auto industry has gone fully autonomous. Self-driving electric pods dominate the streets, and internal combustion engines have been outlawed in most cities. The once-glorious car culture—burnouts, drag races, and custom builds—is all but extinct.
But beneath the neon-lit towers of Neo-Angeles, a defiant subculture keeps the spirit of speed alive. Known as Motorheads, this underground network of outlaw mechanics, ex-racers, and gearheads live off the grid, restoring old machines and racing through the shadows of the automated world.
At the heart of it is Riko Vega, a gifted street racer and ex-F1 prodigy whose career was destroyed when human drivers were banned. Now she leads a secret crew, modifying fossil-fueled relics from the past and dodging the ever-watching eyes of the Transport Authority—a corporate-state coalition that enforces the driving ban with AI drones and robotic enforcers.
When Riko discovers a hidden blueprint left behind by her late father—a legendary engineer who once designed engines for the U.S. military—she realizes it’s the key to building the last V12 beast: a car that could outmatch any AI on the road. But activating it will make her the most wanted fugitive in the country.
Soon, the Motorheads find themselves hunted by Torque, a cold-blooded cybernetic enforcer and former racer himself, now turned into the corporate weapon against his own kind. As the race to preserve freedom burns rubber across deserts, rooftops, and underground highways, Riko and her crew must outrun extinction and reignite humanity’s connection to machines.
