Squid Game (2024)

The second season of the South Korean dystopian survival thriller horror television series Squid Game, marketed as Squid Game 2, was released worldwide on the streaming service Netflix on December 26, 2024. The season stars Lee Jung-jae, Wi Ha-joon, Lee Byung-hun, Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Lee Jin-wook, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-shim and Lee Seo-hwan. It is set three years after Seong Gi-hun won Squid Game, giving up on going to the United States and returning with a new resolution in mind. He once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of ₩45.6 billion. A third and final season has been confirmed to premiere in 2025.
