Wick Is Pain (2025) : the legend of John Wick has faded into myth — a ghost story told in whispers by hitmen and ex-syndicate soldiers. After faking his death two years prior, Wick now lives in the shadows of a war-torn Eastern European city, physically wounded and mentally fractured.
He is no longer the Baba Yaga. He’s just John, hiding in silence, haunted by the people he couldn’t save and the peace he never found.
But the past refuses to stay buried.
A War Resurfaces
When a covert branch of the High Table uncovers Wick’s location, they don’t send assassins — they send a message. They capture a young orphan, Miko, who had been under John’s quiet protection. In a brutal twist, they broadcast her kidnapping across the assassin underworld as a challenge: “The ghost lives. Bring him to us.”
John is forced to break the silence. He returns to a world that has evolved — colder, digital, deadlier. The rules have changed. Drones replace scouts. Blockchain contracts replace cash bounties. But pain? Pain remains the same.
The Blood Hunt
John fights his way through layered city-states of contract killers, data brokers, and augmented mercenaries. Along the way, he reconnects with a former ally, Anya, a cyber-forger who now leads a resistance network. Together, they unravel a sinister plan by the High Table to upload the minds of elite assassins into controllable AI clones — starting with Wick himself.
Meanwhile, every fight costs him. His body is failing. His mind fractures under the weight of guilt, grief, and rage. Yet, with every broken rib and every shattered memory, he moves closer — not to revenge, but to release.
The Last Fight
In a final battle inside a cathedral-turned-data-farm, Wick confronts his synthetic double — an emotionless replica designed to replace him permanently. The battle is brutal and poetic, blurring the lines between man and myth. Ultimately, John refuses to become code, to be owned, to be remembered by others’ definitions.
He wins. But he is dying.
As the cathedral burns, John carries Miko to safety and disappears into the fire — a man consumed by pain, but finally free of it.
